Beauly is a Scottish town of about 1,400-1,500 inhabitants, located along the course of the river of the same name, which flows into the Beauly Firth in the North Sea
In this town, there was a need to renovate a Cottage with 2 Bedrooms. The structure in question had two adjacent properties that previously shared a common septic tank.
The primary requirement of the owners of the two properties was to have an independent system that could discharge into a nearby water body.
Other dynamics had to be considered, such as achieving full purification efficiency while respecting the nature of the river, but the choice of the system also had to be of a type of wastewater treatment that would not generate recurring costs impacting the monthly family budget.
After careful research for the best plant solution, the client determined that BIOROCK technology best met their needs.
The composition of the wastewater treatment structure was therefore configured with a primary septic tank ST1-2000 and a treatment unit BIOWATER M with Biorock technology. BIOWATER is designed for the aerobic biological treatment of domestic wastewater and/or similar from homes, historic residences, but also campsites, tourist villages, agritourisms, restaurants, accommodation facilities, and farms, free from oils and fats that have been pre-separated. BIOWATER is the most eco-sustainable wastewater treatment plant, as the purification process operates by natural gravity.
The choice was made in line with the client's needs and considering the characteristics of the purifier:
- No electricity required for purification,
- Very low and simple maintenance,
- Ease of installation,
- Absolute silence
