Online applications on the Artea website by 1:00 PM on May 31, 2022 Publication date of the call in BURT March 9, 2022 Deadline for submitting applications May 31, 2022 The Tuscany Region with director's decree 3243 of February 25, 2022, approved the call “Investments for the management of water resources for irrigation purposes by agricultural enterprises – year 2022” (Annex A of the decree) which implements operation type 4.1.4 “Management of water resources for irrigation purposes by agricultural enterprises” of the Rural Development Program Feasr 2014-2022 of the Tuscany Region. Objectives This call grants contributions, in capital account, to Professional Agricultural Entrepreneurs (IAP) or equivalent subjects for business interventions aimed at making water use in agriculture more efficient by supporting interventions related to the storage system, the distribution/adduction system of water intended for agricultural irrigation use, and finally, irrigation systems. Deadline and Application Submission The aid application must be submitted, starting from March 11, 2022 and by 1:00 PM on Monday, May 31, 2022, exclusively through an electronic procedure using the forms available on the management platform of the regional register of agricultural enterprises managed by ArteaA, accessible from the site www.artea.toscana.it. Applications received after the aforementioned deadline are not eligible for funding. Beneficiaries The following subjects are eligible to submit applications and benefit from support:
- professional agricultural entrepreneurs (Iap) registered, even provisionally, in the regional register pursuant to regional law 45 of July 27, 2007 and by decree of the president of the regional council 49/R of September 6, 2017;
- professional agricultural entrepreneurs (Iap) recognized, even provisionally, under current state legislation (legislative decree 99/2004) by other Regions or Autonomous Provinces;
- equivalent subjects to the professional agricultural entrepreneur (Iap) pursuant to Article 20 of regional law 45/2007 (enterprises of public entities that exclusively carry out activities defined as agricultural by Article 2135 of the Civil Code and by special state laws).

- 1. collection and storage of water for agricultural irrigation use through the new construction of reservoirs/tanks.
- 2. improvement of existing collection/storage systems for agricultural irrigation use through the restoration of structural elements that allow for enhanced efficiency, functionality (waterproofing, reservoir shaping, bottom and surface drainage) and their safety (new fencing and new ladders);
- 3. recovery and treatment of wastewater from agricultural enterprises through the construction of new plants for the recovery and treatment of this type of water in order to obtain water for agricultural irrigation use (filtration plants, phytodepuration, etc.). Systems aimed at limiting point source pollution (e.g., biobeds) or plants aimed at the potabilization of water are excluded from funding.
- 4. company networks for the adduction/distribution of water and irrigation systems through the construction of new pressurized adduction/distribution networks and the construction of new irrigation, fertigation, anti-frost, hydroponic and/or aeroponic systems;
- 5. improvement of existing pressurized company networks for the adduction/distribution of water and improvement of existing irrigation systems;
- 6. purchase and installation of measurement, remote control, and automation systems;
- 7. acquisition of software for the management of the above-mentioned systems.
