Every day in Italy, over 20 billion liters of wastewater are discharged onto the soil, into watercourses, and underground in contact with aquifers. This water comes from households and is not properly treated. In a year, the figures become even more impressive, as the volumes of untreated wastewater exceed 7,300 billion liters.
It's never too late to start doing something for ourselves and for the environment.
