On November 6th, forty-five governments, led by the United Kingdom, committed at the Cop 26 in Glasgow to invest a total of 4 billion dollars in actions to protect nature and transition to more sustainable agricultural systems, on the day dedicated to nature and land use at the conference. Agriculture, currently responsible for about a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere, as well as the depletion of aquifers, urgently needs reform. The agricultural sector requires innovations, technologies, and organizational models to address climate change and better manage their crops. Dorabaltea has always stood by farmers, offering them both solutions for wastewater treatment and reuse for irrigation, as well as innovative and concrete responses for managing the disposal of water contaminated by pesticides. Agricolus shares with Dorabaltea the goal of reducing and optimizing water resource use: reducing costs, protecting crops from water stress, and better managing periods of climate drought or unavailability of raw materials.
