What if we invited Matt The Farmer?
Dorabaltea offices, daytime, while fingers nervously drum on the table, a sudden light illuminates the gaze of our Development and Controlling Manager:
“What if we invited Matt The Farmer?”
The idea was born like this, because Matt was known to all of us in the company, thanks to the passion for gardening that many of us share. Matt is the YouTube farmer and even this definition alone would have been enough to make us understand that we would get along immediately, and that with Matteo Fiocco, aka Matt, we shared a passion for “green” that is made of concrete actions. Matteo has created a community of over 278,000 farmers around his garden: agricultural businesses or individuals who have decided to turn their gardens into vegetable patches and rely on Matteo's advice and his lively and animated community. Matteo is simple, direct, and concrete: he explains step by step how to raise sheep, chickens, and bees, how to grow tomatoes, and how to manage a vineyard and an olive grove. Thanks to him, many people have learned to grow what they consume daily, to distinguish a genuine product from an industrial one, to recognize the seasonality of crops, and above all to appreciate the pleasure of producing food for their families themselves. Through his channel, he shares the problems and solutions he faces every day, creating a space of entertainment where his community enthusiastically gathers every Tuesday and Friday.
So why Matt?
If you already know us or have heard our claim “Those who choose Dorabaltea are seen” you already know what connects us to Matt! In a world that talks about “green” and “environmental sustainability”, we, and in this we include Matt, are the ones who build this “green” in concrete terms. “Those who choose Dorabaltea” have green on their minds, think in “green”, and believe that the most eco-sustainable solutions for their homes, their businesses, and their environments are always, ultimately and all things considered, by far the most economically sustainable. We have therefore entrusted Matt with an important task: to translate our sophisticated purification technologies into simple words, removing jargon and technicalities to demonstrate concretely what wastewater treatment does.
And today we can truly say that Matt has won the challenge!
In just 7 days, over 31,000 people wanted to learn more by watching Matt The Farmer's video, to discover how the water from their drains can be reused for irrigation.
